About two years ago a friend of mine was severely ill and we both decided to make bucket lists. I kept the list pinned on my bulletin board for a few weeks until it was moved to a folder under my desk and it’s stayed there ever since. I kept meaning to pull it out and update it but I always got busy and sidetracked with other things so it never happened.

Then a few weeks ago I was on twitter and one of my suggested followers was Washington Capitals owner Ted Leonis. I hate the Capitals was curious what he tweets about so I checked it out anyways and saw a link to his “Ted’s Take” blog. On his blog I saw his 101 list, which is a bucket list of 101 things he wants to do before he dies. It gave me some more ideas for my own list and helped me decide to start a blog about my bucket list.

So I’ve updated my list and it has a total of 70 things I want to do before I die. Some are lofty and probably won’t happen and others are just silly but if I can accomplish at least 80% of them, I’ll be happy.
